Statement from the Family of Steve Duignan:
Around 2:00 am, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, one of the most Godly men who have ever been placed on this Earth went home to be with his Heavenly Father. He never wandered nor questioned the one thing in life he knew for certain more than any other; that he had a Savior. The fact that he believed that was only minute compared to the fact that his life and purpose was devoted to Christ and serving Him and doing His work on a daily basis. No one will ever know the number of lives he touched or the people he impacted from his living every day on Earth for Christ, through his years in radio or those he ministered to on a daily basis. He lived for Him like no other. He was a spiritual leader in his family, his church and his community. He was one of the wisest, most knowledgeable, and faith filled men that many ever knew. His advice and beliefs bestowed on those around him was from the heart and always centered in Christ. He had a love for people and the desire to share his faith with all whose path he crossed and that number of people was countless. Our family has been blessed with an earthly father and husband who not only loved us with all his heart but more importantly showed us and many others how to love Christ with all of your heart and how to live for Him every day. If you knew Steve on Earth and know his Heavenly Father, rest with assurance that you will one day see him again.
Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die. (Isaiah 57:1, 2 NLT)
